I celebrated my 35th birthday on Wednesday. I love to celebrate, and I love to be celebrated. I love birthdays and reasons to make the day special, and I try hard to do that in my everyday life. If I’m being honest, work from home motherhood ca
It’s nearly midnight and here I am, writing when I should be sleeping. It’s what happens when fall asleep with Wally and wake a half hour later, groggy but then wired at a time when I need rest. Oh well. Today I wrote about beauty and my Sweet sweet summertime. Soft soft summertime. I love summer, as most Minnesotans do - with a strong grasp, a yearning to be outdoors always, that fleeting feeling that it will all be over soon. The Cafe Undone French Flea Market takes place in less July is my favorite month. Probably because it’s my birthday month 🌹 I foresee coffee outside, dinners outside, a rounder belly full of one sweet babe and homemade bread. Fresh fruit and fresh flowers. Laughs with friends. Cafe Undone 3.0, a french flea market and outdoor cafe, will take place on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 from 9am-2pm. I have been dreaming of this for so long! A casual affair in a comfortable, beautiful setting, an event that hopefully feels like bo Cafe Undone 3.0 is on my mind, and I am seriously so excited for this one! I’ll be collaborating with @christy_holt, my friend and a local stylist who has the most impeccable taste in fashion and home (and all things!) She’ll be coming wi scenes from the Once Upon A Child Spring/Summer shoot. I think for the first time in years, I really sat back and evaluated all the time and talent that is truly put into this project - years of knowledge and evolving, months of planning, preparation @platoscloset @styleencore shoot day things. what a cast, what a crew, what a day 🙏 round 2 tomorrow.
